Master of Government

The Master of Government Degree is a professional programme focusing on understanding the workings and challenges of an Islam-driven system of government. The programme seeks to develop highly educated and skilled workers with knowledge related to: leadership, Islamic governance, strategy, policy and implementation.

Students are taught through a blended learning approach providing you with face-to-face classes (optional) and online access to digital resources that will enable you to study at your own pace and time.

Entry Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications (either one of the following

Bachelor's Degree

Bachelor's Degree AND at least five (5) years of working experience at executive or management level

Other Qualifications

Any other qualification which is deemed equivalent or fit may be considered by Faculty and approved by Senate on a case-by-case basis.

 Minimum English Requirement (either one of the following

GCE 'O' Level

At least a credit in English Language at GCE 'O' Level

IGCSE English as a Second language

Grade B





The applicant may be required to undergo an interview on a case by case basis.

Graduation Requirements

Students will be awarded a Master of Government when they have accumulated the minimal total of 48 MCs from the major core and major option modules required for the programme.

Medium of Instruction

The Master of Government programme will be delivered in English
